Meihua Group Completes Organizational GHG Verification and Product Carbon Footprint Verification for Core Products

Meihua Holdings Group Co., Ltd. ("Meihua Group" or the "Company") has successfully completed organizational-level greenhouse gas (GHG) emission verification in September 2026, covering the Company itself and its three subsidiaries: Tongliao Meihua Biological Sci-tech Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Meihua Amino Acid Co., Ltd., and Jilin Meihua Amino Acid Co., Ltd. Concurrently, six categories of core products manufactured by the three subsidiaries — monosodium glutamate (MSG), L-threonine, L-lysine, xanthan gum, Valine, and Isoleucine — have also completed third-party product carbon footprint verification.

The verification was conducted by an independent third-party institution in accordance with the following international standards:

• ISO 14064-1:2018 Greenhouse gases - Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals

• ISO 14067:2018 Greenhouse gases - Carbon footprint of products - Requirements and guidelines for quantification

• ISO 14064-3:2019 Greenhouse gases - Part 3: Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements

The accounting scope covers the entire production and operation process, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and traceability of GHG emission data.

The successful completion of organizational GHG verification demonstrates that the Company has established a standardized GHG accounting and management system, further enhancing the reliability and credibility of its carbon information disclosure. The completion of carbon footprint verification for six categories of core products across three production bases means that the Company's key amino acid products now possess third-party verified life-cycle carbon emission data — a "carbon identity card" for each product. This enables the Company to provide credible raw material carbon emission data to downstream customers, supporting value chain carbon accounting and green procurement across the industry chain.

Moving forward, building on the results of this verification, the Company will deepen the application of carbon data in operational areas such as fermentation production, energy management, and raw material procurement.
